Descrizione

Produce una visualizzazione di tipo ortografico degli oggetti della scena.

Orthographic is (according to Wikipedia): ... a means of representing a three-dimensional object in two dimensions...

Fondamentalmente la vista ortografica ha una profondità fissa. Non è possibile ingrandire o ridurre. Non c'è distanza dalla fotocamera.
La vista in prospettiva ha una profondità. È possibile ingrandire e ridurre. Si può valutare le distanze. Le telecamere possono essere distanziate dalla scena.
In poche parole, la vista ortografica appiattisce tutta la scena lungo l'asse della vista delle telecamere
e comprime tutto contro la camera.

Simply put, orthographic is what would happen if you squished everything in the scene (along the cameras view axis) and stuck it right against the camera.
