Description

This tool asks the user for a center point and a radius. You can then specify the number of sides and a regular polygon will be created inside a circle of the given radius. The number of sides and if the polygon is inscribed or circumscribed to the circle can be changed anytime in the object's properties. The newly created polygon will have the current color and width.

The points can be picked with the mouse in the 3d view or by entering coordinates with the keyboard.

Usage

  • Picking a point on an empty area of the 3d view, or on an existing object.
  • Pressing CTRL will snap your point to available snap locations.
  • Pressing SHIFT will constrain your new point in relation to the last one.
  • Enter numbers to manually insert a coordinate
  • Pressing ESC will cancel the operation.
  • The newly created wire will take the current linestyle.
  • The polygon can be displayed as a face or as wireframe, changing its display mode.
