There are several downloads for various operating systems availible. Before downloading keep in mind:

FreeCAD Windows installer

For conveniance there is an installer for Windwos 2000 & XP. Maybe the installer does work on older Windows platforms, but has not been tested yet. You need Windows Installer V1 on your system (msiexec.exe). See using windows installer for details about unatended installation.

For debian based Linux system there is a binary debian package (Thanks to Werner Mayer):

For all other platforms you need to compile FreeCAD on your own out of the source packeage:

FreeCAD LibPack

To collect all the needed Libraries to compile FreeCAD can be a time consuming task. So we deliver a convenient package for development on Windows (VS6 & VS8) with all needed libraries. You can download the current version 3 of of the libpack from
