Schizzo
Introduzione
In FreeCAD la parola "Sketch" viene normalmente utilizzata per fare riferimento a un Sketcher SketchObject (Oggettto schizzo) (classe Sketcher::SketchObject
) definito dall'ambiente Sketcher. Si tratta di un disegno 2D che utilizza i vincoli matematici per descrivere con precisione la geometria 2D.

Utilizzo
Esistono due modi comuni per creare uno schizzo: utilizzando direttamente l'ambiente Sketcher o tramite l'ambiente PartDesign.
Ambiente Sketcher
- Passare nell'ambiente Sketcher.
- Premere Crea un nuovo schizzo.
Ambiente PartDesign
- Passare nell'ambiente PartDesign.
- Premere Crea un corpo.
- Premere Crea uno schizzo.
Al termine della modifica dello schizzo, chiuderlo per uscire dalla modalità di modifica. Fare doppio clic su di esso per accedere nuovamente alla modalità di modifica.
Note
Uno schizzo è frequentemente usato insieme a PartDesign per creare solidi mediante estrusione, usando l'operazione Pad.
Tuttavia, uno schizzo può sempre essere creato da solo per qualsiasi altro scopo; non deve necessariamente essere legato a un Corpo. Ad esempio, lo strumento Finestra di Arch utilizza gli schizzi per definire le forme di finestre e porte; allo stesso modo, possono essere usati per definire la forma di un muro
