| Description | If you import an existing Freecad drawing, then make changes to the drawing and then export to dxf, then the dxf file contains also old elements of the original drwawing Closing Freecad, then opening the Freecad drawing again and exporting again to dxf results in a correct exported dxf file. | ||||

I am trying to port a Freecad file to a .dxf file, I have tried to do it with version 0.17, 0.18.1 and 0.18.2 but I always get the same error. By console I get this: " Traceback (most recent call last): File "<string>", line 4, in <module> File "/usr/share/freecad/Mod/Draft/importDXF.py", line 1925, in export getDXFlibs() File "/usr/share/freecad/Mod/Draft/importDXF.py", line 138, in getDXFlibs import dxfReader <class 'SyntaxError'>: invalid syntax (dxfReader.py, line 88) " I hope you can resolve this error soon, thank you very much. |

Closing this ticket since there is adequate information or examples to use. DXF is an ongoing project in FC. Feel free to search the forums and/or open a new thread to discuss the problem. Please use 0.19pre to test. |
