Summary | 0002845: Part fusion fails when trying to fusion 10 offset parts into 1
Description | When trying to fusion 10 offset parts into one the fusion fails. I can reproduce this fault all the time
Steps To Reproduce | 1) Open attached file: Hoverlft Fan Mk2.FCStd 2) select all the Blade objects (Blade-Blade009) 3) and then select union from the Parts menu, Result: FC will fail to fusion these objects correctly. Note: I have found a work around by fusing blade objects in pairs and then in-turn fusing those fusions and then fusing this fusions, I can reach my original objective.

This is a very poorly written bug report. In the "Steps to reproduce", you are supposed to list all the steps required to reproduce the problem, not simply say "I can reproduce this fault all the time". What you need to describe and detail is HOW. You should also have read the READ THIS BEFORE REPORTING link before doing anything. This link is under the ISSUES menu, right above the "REPORT ISSUE" link you clicked to report this issue, so you have no excuse for not seeing it. The "Read this" link explain that you should always talk about your issue on the FreeCAD forum first so we can ensure the quality of bug reports and avoid duplicates. |

To reproduce the bug select all the Blade objects (Blade-Blade009) and then select union from the Parts menu, free cad will fail to fusion these objects correctly. I have found a work around by fusing blade objects in pairs and then in-turn fusing those fusions and then fusing this fusions, I can reach my original objective. |

@Gadgeteering please add the contents of Help > About FreeCAD as well. Note: I also edited the ticket to demonstrate a more ideal way to write a bug report. Thanks. |
