Summary0002742: Unrelated features lost on edit.
DescriptionThe part is a cap for a cable conduit. It has to be fitted aroud an existing cable so it has a slit allowing it to be opened, fitted around the cable, then inserted over the end of the conduit.

The condit draw string has to be fixed to the cap. so two substantial lugs are provided to attach the cord to.

A previous edit increased all diameters slightly from the prototype which was successfully produced to verify the fit of the finished plug in the conduit. The prototype did not have lugs.

The lugs were added and the diameters increased slightly, but I forgot to extend the slit so the finished part could not be fitted around the cable. This last edit is to extend the slit.

Editing this sketch breaks the model.

(to see what is happening the 0.5mm constraint can be widened to 2mm)
Steps To ReproduceOpen file
Note design of object -
Edit sketch003: alter the final constraint from 25mm to 27mm
NB there is an earlier constraint 25mm which does not change.
Exit edit
Part has lost one of the top blocks.

OK ...
1. Original issue is unstable - the fault has a different effect today. FreeCad details unchanged but obiously several Windows updates in the meantime. Possibly picking up something random.

But the edited file still has lug problems. Only the detail of the problem has changed. The problem could be in the Windows libraries.

2. Updated FreeCad - the update seems to have made no difference. The new problem detail is still exhibited.
NB on the way I had to restore VisualC++ to its original status :-(

I have uploaded the 6706 edited file.

I will have a look, from the description it sounds like a topological naming issue.

It is again the topological naming issue. It belongs to 0000922 and can be seen as a duplicate of e.g. 0000796.
Changing the value in Sketch003 as requested creates additional faces because it exceeds the inner diameter. Thus the result is very expected.

@chrisb should I close this as a dupe of 0000796 ? Or is there a need for this usecase?
