Summary	0002248: Overlaps in polar patterns shouldn't always be errors
Description	When a polar pattern results in overlap of repetitions, a) if the source feature is a pad, the binary union should be applied between all repetitions and the base solid (if there is one); b) if the source feature is a pocket, first a binary union of repetitions should take place, and then a binary difference taking the resulting union and the base solid.

severoraz 2017-05-06 12:45 reporter ~0008897	I have uploaded a test file to check the issue, and an image of how it shows on my end. This is using FreeCAD 0.16 but exactly the same result is obtained using FreeCAD 0.17_pre (downloaded and compiled today, 2017-05-06 T 14:43 UTC+2). The issues reported in similar bugs 0002028 and 0002072 are however different from this one, for I tested their respective test files and they are indeed fixed. toothed-disc.fcstd (14,212 bytes) toothed-disc.png (13,064 bytes) toothed-disc.png (13,064 bytes)

This behavior is probably dependent on OCC versions.
