| Summary | 0002178: Fillet of edges extends further than it should | ||||
| Description | The ability to fillet an edge or edges produces mixed results. I can fillet and edge and sometimes an edge that came to the same point. However, if I continue to select edges in wireframe, I see that the fillet exends beyond the intended edge and wraps around the 90 degree common corner. My expectation is that when I pick and edge that I could "hand file" that the adjacent edge should not automatically be "filed". I need to control the fillet to individual edges. This is a deal breaker for me. | ||||
| Steps To Reproduce | Create a rectangular block and chamfer an edge. The pick edges in wireframe and start adding a fillet to a selected edge. The selected edge should receive the fillet, but NOT adjacent edges that are at 90 degrees and happen to share a common point. | ||||

The described procedure is quite vague in what exactly should be done. But nevertheless it's known behaviour that in certain cases a not selected edge is filleted too in order to create a valid geometry. |
