Summary | 0001495: Add Visible Mesh to Property View For Mesh Objects
Description | Add visible mesh = True/False to the properties section in the combo view for mesh objects. Currently, the only way to observe the mesh pattern within FreeCAD is to Create shape from mesh in the Part Workbench which then shows the faces of the converted mesh. A much simpler visible mesh = True/False world be a very handy feature to have, especially when working with meshes in the Mesh Design Workbench. Highlighting the mesh, like the simulated image attached, would be a handy, time saving feature to have available in FreeCAD.

I see that changing from Shaded to Flat Lines in Combo View > Display Mode will show the mesh but does so with rather nasty artifacts. Maybe there isn't a good way to display the mesh in FreeCAD like Netgen and other Meshing software does. For the most part, Flat Lines does serve the purpose. |
|
The "Flat Lines" mode is exactly what you requested. This feature is available almost since the beginning of FreeCAD. |
